Is there a loop on the belly pad anywhere?? If there is, put a long skate lace or something in your pants, and then loop the skate laces up through the loop and cinch it down and tie it off.

Might want to shift this over to the Goalie Gear forum, but no harm in answering your questions.

This unit is identical to the Nike/Bauer XXX, so any advice you may find that pertains to that C/A also applies to the One95.

You've already tried braces (suspenders for some), but have you tried different arrangements?-- for example, tucking the braces under the shoulder-floaters, so they can't slide in across your neck. That would be my advice.

I would, however, suggest that you may have bought the unit a size too small. The One95 is definitely designed to be worn un-tucked (that is, not tucked down the pants), and thus to fit a little longer than older-style C/A's like (I speculate) your old Brian's.

If you can't exchange the size or don't want to, and the braces don't work, you can have a repair shop or even just a cobbler or leather-worker sew a loop into the lower belly area between the blocks, just like on your old one. It might cost $5.

Having just had another quick look at the One95, you'd probably need to instal two loops on the belly: one on either side of the sternum guard that runs all the way down the centre of the chest and belly. IIRC, that piece is either plastic or high-density foam, so it would be very hard and not very smart to sew a single loop through it; better to go with two.
