Need Some CCM Knowledge U+ vs V03 fit

Ok this weekend I am able to buy new CCM U+ Pro for $200 now my brother used the V03 before buying bauers. A size 9 in the 03 is a great fit pre-heat mold for me already so I'm wondering is there a difference in the fit I know we are at complete opposite ends of the line but I refuse to go to an LHS and try them on and not buy them if anyone can help thank you.

The two skates are going to fit quite different. The V03 is going to have the standard heat moldable foam and a pre formed body. The idea behind the U+ is to have a completely seamless fit to your foot. That is why the U+ is a boot that is almost completely heat molding foam and does not have a preform. If you can get the U+ for $200 it is a great deal. The skates have had some cosmetic problems (the outter mesh bubble/ frays) but I have had mine for almost two years and have had no other problems. Keep in mind too that the U+ pro you are probably are getting a deal on are not the reloaded version (they fixed the cosmetic issues and did away with the rocket runner) so they will have the CCM rocket runner on them that some find it hard to sharpen. If you have a decent LHS they shouldn't have a problem sharpening the steel. Hope this helps.
