moejoe3117 1 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 Is it ok for my toes to rub the tip of the skate when they are new? It is a tight fit, which might be better. But will my foot slip back a little as the skate breaks in? Also it's the Tour Tabu.
Chad Seibel 2 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 It really depends on what type of skating experience you want. With your skate fitting that tight, you will get a little more performance out of the skate, but a little less comfort. Your foot may settle back a little, but not too much. I wear a size 9 right now and could easily be in a 9.5, but I want to have the most performance that I can and the most amount of push out of the skate. My toes are brushing the front like you say yours are.If you want top end performance and the skates do not feel cramped, then stay with these. If you are looking for a little more comfort, go up a half size.
moejoe3117 1 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 Just wanted to say thanks to Chad for the advice. I went down to an eight and after skating to night the skate fits even better.
