Girdle, Pants, or 2-Piece

Currently have a Mission 2-piece (NME-Nine). Unfortunately, the shell is getting beaten up like crazy on the inside of the thighs, and I can't find replacement (black) shells. So, I'm thinking of making some changes, and am considering the following:

• One-piece - would lean heavily in the direction of Tackla 9000 for combo of fit and protection. I'm a bit concerned about mobility and would have to go to a different jock solution
  
• Girdle/shell combo - not "sold" on any combo, but I do tend to like Tackla stuff. Some of the other stuff out there with velcro closures seems to allow a lot of flexibility in dressing sequence and fit, though. Presumably, I'd have to where an undergarment with integrated sock holders.
  
• Two-piece - not sure what's out there similar to the Missions, but replaceable shells would be critical. I know Easton had/has a set up similar to my Mission, but I find the quality to be a bit lacking.
  

Here's what I like about the 2-piece Mission:

• Cup and velcro sock holders integrated in girdle portion
  
• Easy to get dressed - I do girdle, socks, skates, shins, shell in that order
  
• Theory that the shell with thigh pads can be replaced
  

I'd appreciate any experience on set-up and brand. Thanks.
