Pre-Vaughn vs. Post Vaugh PPF's

Hello all, I am semi-new to MSH, but not new to the world of gear by any means. I did a quick search for the information I'm looking for but didn't find anything specific.

I am looking to customize a pair of Eagle PPF's, with custom finger length, and black MSH2. I learned recently that the post-Vaughn MSH2 is not nearly as nice as the original MSH2. I understand that the new orange QuickDry liner is a bit thicker and nicer. I have a pair of Jamal Mayers' PPF's and my buddy has a pair of pre-Vaughn PPF's.

What I'm getting at is; does anyone have experience with with pre and post-Vaughn PPF's? And, if so, can you elaborate on the differences? Pros and cons? Preference between the two?
