RBK 8K With Hum'er Elite?

I'm looking to take these worthless tri-di off of my new boots, and put on a nice Labeda frame, I'm curious about the process of it, the risk, or if there's any at all.

I've put an 80mm wheel in the Tri-di frame, and aside from being snug in the frame, it fits fine parallel to the boot, I've seen a few modded pairs on here, & I know a couple guys for Pama do this as well.. ANY BODY! :o

Looked through the customizing thread..seems to be a lot of folks doing ice conversion, where abouts would I get the heel lifts? LHS?

i was thinking about this too!! i have boss blacks, but want to try the rbk pump boots and the 8k looks sick, but no tri-die for me. i miss the hummer my old skates where tours

I'll pass on some info I got from a poster here;

To apply the Hummer frame to an RBK Boot, you will have to apply a front lift, or manually dremel a portion of your boot out to house the second wheel.

Have you converted to the Hummer yet? I, too, have the rbk 8k and i'm finding it hard to transition over from my tacks w/ h-300 old school frame.

To get the 80's to clear you have to dremel out a divot in the out sole for the second wheel to clear. On some skates you also have to remove a little bit of the out sole for the front wheel to clear as well. The process is very simple and I have done it on a couple of my own conversations and on numerous other skates for teammates and friends. The other way to do it is to use lifts so the frame is farther from the out sole.
