curtstyle24 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 I had bought some tours and I am used to the hi-lo chassis...Im not sure if I am liking the feeling of the wheels being the same size, sometimes it feels like im gonna fall backwards when turning around to skate backwards fast. Would it be fine to just put 2 72mm on the fronts and keep the 76s on the back? or should i go with 2 80s on the backs? I love the way the tour boot fits, however im not a fan of all same size wheels

dreww 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 Which tour skate do you use? I thought they ran all 80s?
meals7 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2010 Current Tours below a size 7 use 76mm wheels. For past lines it was 7 and below that used 76mm
usurhc 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2010 I would suggest doing 80s in the back and 72s in the front. If you don't want to go that extreme, try doing 72s in the front and maybe just 78s in the back. You could even do 80s in the back and 76s in the front. The only trade off is, the bigger the wheel you have, the higher from the ground you'll be and you want to be as low to the ground as possible. Moos3 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2010 I wouldn't suggest putting anything in a Labeda frame, other than what is supposed to be, & that is wheels of EQUAL Size, across the board..they aren't pitched to comfortably fit that.
