New Soldiers or old Lieutenants?

I finally need new skates after numerous years with my proto vis. I was looking at the lieutenants on closeout which are the same price as the new mission soldiers. Anyone have a strong reaosn why one might be preferable over the other? Also if i go with the Lieutenants whats the sizing. I am about an 11 and my proto vis are an 11 and fit well. Thanks in advance fellas!

I was a 10 in Proto Vsi, and currently use a size 9 in the Mission Boss 08. I would say go with the LT, they are a good skate.

I'd jump up $50 and get the commander blacks if I were in your situation and at your price point. For the extra dough I'd much rather have the lighter skate, mag chassis, better wheels, and faster bearings.

now that i am looking i see i can get the old BOSS for $280 also. Are those significantly better than the commander blacks?

I'd stick with the commander black. I hated those Hyper wheels that come on that old boss. The commander black has the same chassis, better wheels, and in my opinion has equally as nice boot exterior/interior lining options as the syndicate boss.

This is of course if you are Mission biased. Tour also makes a great skate, although I'm much more familiar with Mission.

I dono why they haven't sold, but the Lt's are a solid skate. Very solid, and insane at that price. IIRC, I got mine for $299 and still think it was a good purchase.

i like the way the lts look too. And they have a ton of different sizes left if you needed anymore pairs! I tried on a rbk 6k and i was very surprised at how much i liked it, for just $10 more than the lts. I am gonna try and decide by this weekend and see if anyone has any good weekend deals
