roller rinks in the boston area

Im going to Harvard in January, I want to know if there are any roller rinks in the area. I wont have a car, so i cant really travel very far.

There's a converted rink right on Memorial Drive (it's in a park almost directly across the street from Harvard Boathouse) It's a converted basketball court, though, I think, meaning chainlink fence and asphalt surface. I think they had chainlink mini-goals, too.

A better rink is at Conway Park on Somerville Ave in Somerville (maybe two blocks from Porter Square so you can take the T) Mapquest Link It's got a nice surface, goals, and boards. Folks tend to come by on weekday nights and weekend mornings.

There's also a new indoor rink at MIT's Z center, but you'll need to pay to get in ($10/day), and it's fairly small (3v3 size). But it's sport-court with nice goals, and full boards/glass setup.

I just want to stay sharp while Im there. I plan to return to Vancouver in May to play a roller hockey season and I want to keep skating. Any rink is fine!
