Advice on shooting pads/passing units

Recommended Posts

Im looking to pick up a some off-ice training items for my garag; practice pad, passing aid and shooting tarp. Setting these up in a garage i have a few questions for recommendations...

Shooting pads

HockeyShot Pro 30' x 60'

or

HockeyShot Roll-up 48" x 96"

Is a roll-up pad better if I have room and dont need portability, or is the quality of the pro pad better?

For passing aids whats a good quality unit around $100? Other better units?

PassMaster

HockeyShot One Time

If there is a better place or source any recommendations are great. Thanks

You don't need to get real fancy for a shooting pad. I used to use a strip of linoleum or the plastic from an exercise slide board sprayed down with Armorall worked like a charm and it was junk I found buried in my parents garage.

I bought the 48"X96" roll-up pad, but I could never get it to stay flat when I wanted to use it. I ended up getting a box of ten shooting tiles, and they've worked out much better.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about that with the roll-up, the extra size looked good but probably stick with the pro pad. Anyone use any of these passing aids?
