Easton pant sizing old vs new

Is it me or do the new Easton pants fit a lot smaller than older model pants. I had a pair of '03 Easton air pants in a size large and am currently wearing a pair of synergy 700 pants in a large and they fit perfectly but lately I have been looking at getting a new pair of pants and it seems to take me everything to fit into a large. I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this sizing difference and if there is a big difference in the length of the large vs the xl in the new model pants.
