RBK 8k and Itech Recon x200

Hi, just wondering if this shield will fit correctly on an RBK 8k large helmet? Ive contacted two retailers and got a "defintely" from one and a "it kinda fits, but not well" from the other. Hopefully someone is using this setup. I searched the forums, but the shield doesnt appear to be too popular. Also, is there any difference between the Itech and Bauer version? Does the itech version use the same replacement shield as the Bauer one? I'm currently using the Bauer 920 deluxe in a large. Not bad and foffing has been mediocre. It fits the helmet pretty well! I just dont use the j clips.

I have both an Itech and Bauer version; they seem to be the same in terms of the frame and the lens are interchangeable.

Thanks. What helmet are you using it with? Any issues with install? I was reading through the forums here and another buy said he needed to get a lg. Mission Intake helmet to get the shield to fit properly.

M11 in medium and NB 5500 in large. Both have slight fit issues but work okay.

The Bauer and Itech are the same.

I've used the Itech Recon on the Reebok 6k with no problems.

Thanks. What size is your helmet? I think the reason fit is not the greatest because the 8k is a little wider than other helmets.

I used a medium. I think I used metal J hooks instead of the plastic ones because it let me shape them to fit over the shield better. Some people just opt not to use J hooks
