Snap Shot Help... Toe?

I'm working on doing the snapper that you start by rolling down off the toe and shooting off the mid-toe. I see pros do it all the time and it works really well, but man, it's difficult to control... Anyone got some tips on it?

I always drag the bottom of my toe on the ground just behind the puck, flick the puck ahead and closer to me, load the shot up, then contact the puck again, but more towards the middle of my blade. I feel that I loose power and accuracy if I contact it towards the toe.
