GTA - Punch one95 skates

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Been lurking around this board for quite some time, lots of useful info!

So I have a pair of one95s for quite some time. My right foot is slightly larger than my left and it's starting to get to a point where the comfort level is bothering me (wasn't as big deal before or maybe I just didn't pay attention to it). So I need to punch out the skate a little on the outside just under the bauer logo. Any of you have suggestions around the Greater Toronto Area to bring them to?

Thanks for any suggestions!

More or less any shop that carries hockey stuff will have a punch.

Just hockey, Toronto hockey repair, Majer hockey, Hockey experts, Pro hockey life, National sports, etc. And that's before starting to think about whether some rinks' shops could do it.

Thanks for the responses guys.

I did swing by Hockey Experts & Pro Hockey Life before and the guys I spoke with did say because of the composite material it was not recommended/would not work. But when I talked to guys at Hockey Experts before that visit, they did say it could be done. So I'm just trying to find somebody I can trust. And if it can be done, I'm looking for the shop with someone that has done it before and has experience with the one95s.

I tried JR's method mentioned here but I don't think I was able to get the area warm enough at home. So now I'm just trying to find an experienced shop to avoid anything bad from happening.

Cheers.

The One95 boot was made of an alive composite material that does react to heat and any type of stretching. Have the store heat the boot and stretch it out in the area it is bothering you and then put it on your foot and shape while you are standing so it forms while your foot is spread out inside the boot. Worst comes to worst leave it over night for a width stretch.
