CCM TACK 651 refurb or new skates

Ok, I am 17 and I am a former goalie. I will play forward next year, I have a really low budget on skates, about 200$.

So i look in my basement and I saw CCM Tacks 651 which fit perfectly. Only problem, the holder on the left skate is cracked. I may change them for CCM holder/Runner for about 70$. Is it a good option for really old skates, or I should buy new skates?

If they fit really well and are supportive enough, I'd say get the new holders and spend the extra money on a stick or something. As long as they fit well and offer enough support for you they should be good!

You don't know how many people here are envy you right now. Get new holders as long as the boot is in good condition. Sounds like a good deal to me.
