i have the oppurtunity to buy my size for a great price, i was wondering if people with heel lock problems have them and what their insight is ( the old u+ 08 pro did not lock my heel well). i currently use x40's which dont lock my heel well enough, and rbk 8k 2010 model which locks my heel well with the pump but the boot is not stiff enough for me. do you think the u+ would be a great choice for me? tried it on and theres enough foam from what i can see around the ankle but on the ice its a different feel as we all know.

You should try bauer supreme skates. My heel does not get locked into any other skates on the market.

i would suggest the 11k's because they have the pump witch seems to have solved the same issue for me

Everyone's foot is different but I would try out multiple skates. For me Easton EQ5/50 had the best heel locks, each person will be different though and get whats fits you best.
