easton ultra lites/synthesis OR Bauer supreme one40

for my son...just starting out who's 9yrs old

junior size... wide foot

was told that that a good skate for him would be the supreme one40.......$85.oo

i also saw that i can buy new old stock.

easton ultra lites 2004 for $50.oo

easton synthesis 2004 $70.oo

and

easton z-air 2003..$80

easton pro gold...$70

i haven't been able to find out much about the synthesis skates, but it seems like the low end ultra lites were given good reviews that i've found

and these mid decade eastons were the best made by them

At the price-point your exploring, go with what your son thinks feels best. As a side note, don't forget to count in first sharpening and heat molding, as they'll be necessary.
