I'm in Ft.Thomas. Here are your options:

Northern Kentucky Ice Center, Crestview Hills, KY - 859-344-1981: -When I tried to find a league this time last year, I called and left a messag 3x's w/o a call back. The place is pretty run down. Only 12 minutes from my house, but I won't go there.

Cincinnati Gardens: 2250 Seymour Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45212, 513-351-9999 -Modeled after the old Maple Leaf Gardens, this is a full-size arena. They typically have 2 sheets of ice: main arena and the annex. Mostly used by highschools for practice and games.I don't think they do open hockey or run their own leagues. You'll need to call to find out.

Indian Hill Winter Club - 10005 Fletcher Dr , Camp Dennison, OH 45111 (513) 576-9444 - The country club of ice hockey in Cincy. -located in the high rent district. If you inquire about joining a league, you'll be asked to become a regular club member.

Northland Ice Center - Evendale, OH - about 25 mins North of NKY. -1 sheet of ice but most of the leagues in the area are ran through the pro-shop here. The guy running the leagues (Tommy Horan) also books ice time for games at the Sphere (formerly Sports Plus). This is where I go to play drop-in and most of my league games. It's a smaller facility, but the facility & staff are reliable. They have daily open hockey.

The Sphere (formerly Sports Plus) - Evendale, OH - 1/2 mile north of Northland - 2 sheets of ice, 1 roller hockey rink and a bar. I play about 30% of my league games here. Not too thrilled w/ how well (poorly) they cut the ice after each game/session. I swear I've seen a fish jump in the water they leave on the ice. It's rumored they are in financial troubles. They have daily open hockey.
