hukturn 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 I am currently using an Easton S-9. I am considering the M-11 and lightly considered the RBK 11K, but not a fan of RBK products.I am trying to get away from the sweat rolling into my eyes, as the Easton does not prevent. It seems that the Easton design allows the sweat from the top of my head to come down the front. This is not a fitting issue as I have adjusted it a few times. So, the M-11 is a front runner. Sure, I'd like comfort and low heat retention, but the sweat rolling into my eyes is my bigger issue. I am not a big fan of the rigidity of the interior of the S-9 either. The 11K and M-11 seem to be a softer compound.I play in a non-check adult league, so hits are not a huge factor. Can anyone provide feedback about the use of the M-11? goblue9280 33 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 Have you tried a headband? I use a halo headband... very thin so it doesn't affect the fit of the helmet and works great at keeping the sweat out of my eyes.http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index.php?/topic/56828-headband-to-control-sweating/
Stoop 1 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 I went from a VN helmet to the M11. I like it better as a whole, but the sweat is worse, not better. Sounds like you'd have to go the headband route.
AIREAYE 248 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 Agreed with the above posters. Why buy an entirely new helmet when you can grab a skullcap?http://www.underarmour.com/shop/us/en/mens/accessories/headwear/skull-caps
