Easton skates s17 normal vs wide advice needed

Currently using s15 6.5w size, plan to move to s17, which should have same fit. At the beginning fit was fine, after some time they became a bit wide, especially in the toe, mid and heel sections are more or less OK, but also have some space

As I can't actually try skates on, I am looking for advice before ordering online - how and there exactly "normal" fit is narrower comparing to "wide" fit for s17 model? Would it be too risky to get 6.5 as normal fit in my case?

The extra width would mostly come from the forefoot area and not much elsewhere. However I have a pair of S15s (8.5W) and from when I tried on a pair of S17s, I had to move up half a size (9W) as I felt that the toecap/high forefoot area was too narrow in the S17s and my toes were pushing against the end in the 8.5W S17s. That was only my experience however and as far as I've seen, not a rule so take it for what it's worth.
