splitbtw 2 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 Thanks to Santa, I will be in the market for a new tapered shaft. Currently, I used a two-piece Total One set-up but I would like to go back to a low kick to see how that works for me and I have a couple x60 blades I would like to make use out of.Generally, I am looking for something that will maintain the power of my slapshots but also do well with other shots will decent to good durability. My current stick is about 59" from heel to the buttend, and I am looking to be in the range of 82-87 flex. Any thoughts on the following shaft models? I know the Apx and x60 are only 54" long, so I may need a wood extension or about an inch or two if I go with either of those. Any input would be appreciated.Bauer X60 or Apx (may need an extension)Reebok 11k (not a fan of the grip)Warrior Dynasty (know nothing about)
sharks25 9 Report post Posted December 27, 2011 The dynasty is a dolomite repaint. It's a good shaft. Out of your choices, I would go x60. It's on sale, very light, and everyone I know with one says they're durable. I love my x60 ops.
Powerfibers 8 Report post Posted December 27, 2011 Tried out my gift APX shaft tonight. It is clunky compared to the OPS version. Not impressed, whereas I absolutely love the OPS.
