Krewitup13 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2011 Just got a pair of the new 9K's. Havent had a chance to skate on them yet but season starts Jan 15. They remind me a little of the old Nike Whites.
mockingduck 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2012 Hi there,Could you tell me how it felt once you tried them? I am deciding between Tour Thor EX1 vs. Mission Boss SE vs. Reebok 9k vs. Mission Axiom T8.Thanks
Krewitup13 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2012 the reebok is a nice fit really contours the foot itself, especially after i baked them...however i personally dont like the pump system so much so i dont use it. You really need to try the skates on. Missions and the reeboks are a way different feel on your foot.
mockingduck 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2012 I am 5'8, 176 lbs. my foot size is 8 without socks, and 8.5 with socks. 9 will give a little more room. So, I am right between 8.5-9 shoe size with socks.I am not near any LHS. That's why it's kind of hard for me to try any of these skates. I am right in between mission axiom T8 vs. Reebok 9K as I mentioned earlier.anyone has any experience or input based on which one I should go with. as far as mission goes, Is it worth the jump from T8 to T9 for that extra stiffness and the magnesium chassis? and is T8 worth the Money or should I downgrade to T7 or T6?Same thing goes for the Reebok 9k. Is it worth the jump from 9k to 11k, or is 7k already good enough? (9k is nice with the white color).I heard reebok is more comfortable and not as stiff as Mission, but mission offers higher specs, and better support. nickyb13 9 Report post Posted January 7, 2012 The opinion that one is more comfortable is irrelevant since they don't offer the same fit. If all else fails order from www.inlinewarehouse.com as they have free return shipping on all skates
