Bauer Flexlite Pro or 1.0 - Any specification?

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I am new to "proper" knowledge about ice skates and things connected to it. I just recently found out that skates are produced in different width and that the terrible pain I feel is caused by too narrow ice skates. Unfortunately in my City (and Country as well I believe) there does not exist such thing like professional Ice skate shop or even full year Ice Rink (I have only seasonal). So please consider that I do not have proper knowledge about the subject and do not have a possibility to ask somebody about it.

I did upload pictures of Bauer Flexlite Pro skates, Bauer Flexlite 1.0 skates and a drawing of my feet.

According to information I found over many internet sites I would need to buy a wide (E, EE) skates (263/100=2.63 < 2.65 means go for wide).

From what I found out the most Wide skates are offered by Bauer (over CCM, RBK) in Flexlite series.

The actual information’s on Bauer site is fallowing:

Flexlite 2.0 - only in EE and in ful sizes

Flexlite 3.0 - D and EE

Unfortunately I can not find those models in local shops (those are too expensive to have them on shelf’s).

The only skates (flexlite series) that I can get in my City are model Pro and 1.0.

After checking the Bauer catalogue’s since 2005 to 2011 I could not find any data about such models.

Do you have any information about those two models size? I mean in what width they were produced (only D, only EE, both)? I just do not want look or ask for unexisting configuration. And no one in shop is able to help me with that.

Are the model Flexlite Pro or Flexlite 1.0 wide enough (in D width) to accomodate 100mm of my feet width?

Any comments are welcome.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Robert
