Are the old Vapor XXX skates still comparable to newer higher end skates?

the old vapor xxx skates from like 2006 or so, are they still comparable to newer vapors like the x60s or the 7.0s or anything? seems they have somewhat same materials with the outsole, the liners, footbeds and all. i know theyre probably not as durable as newer ones but as far as weight,boot stiffness,quality and protection are they too outdated or are they still fine? havent been able to find any reviews on these since they are so old. any input appreciated.
