CCM Ovechkin curve 164-1(2011)

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, i am wondering what curves in retail are most similar to the new ccm ovechkin curve. I know the catalog says it is similar to easton hall, bauer backstrom, and rbk crosby, but I have a se16 in a sakic curve( now hall) and i am having problems shooting with it. However, with the ccm ovechkin curve i am able to shoot with ease and percision. Any thoughts? Thanks!

New CCM Ovechkin? It was replaced this year by the Nugent-Hopkins (that will always be a mouthful).

The catalog is obviously correct, perhaps it has to do with the stick you're shooting with. Or even something mental.

I switched from a CCM Ovechkin to Bauer P92/Backstrom. The description of the curves make them appear quite different (heel curve vs. mid/toe) but they really aren't that different in real life. I honestly haven't had any problems transitioning.

i think that you are using the old ovechkin curve? the drury clone? The new ovi one(which lasted a year but renamed to RNH) according to the catalog is similar to the curves i listed above, although the description says mid-heel vs the others mid-toe. Im starting to guess that its the shaft, I feel that the CL is lighter than the se16.
