Harv 86 Report post Posted April 10, 2012 Love these gloves, but I have some big things coming and need to let these go. Got these from the Capitals and I'm 99.9% sure that these are Franchises. First clue is that there is a MIA tag on the inside of left glove. Looks factory as well as the product tab behind it. 2nd thing that tips it off that side by side to all my Franchises that the build is identical. All the foams and dimensions match up perfectly. I'm convinced that these are Franchises and not MB22s because MB22 rolls are a little rounder and the Franchise foam is more squared off. Even the thumb lock is in the same place as my Franchises. The only thing not identical to the Franchises is the cuff. These have a great 3 piece wrist cuff that is a cross between a Kovalchuk and a regular RBK cuff. The palms are cut the same as Franchises and I'm pretty sure that it's a stock Warrior palm.As for the condition of the palms, just minor pilling on both palms. Not holes, tears, or cuts. Gloves are mostly Tufftek with some minor leather accents. The glove is still a full RBK graphic with all the stitching, not a fake graphic like you see sometimes. Absolutely zero smell at all. There are minor ''red'' stains on the both gloves in the white. Not sure what it is, but I'm not going to speculate. My Capitals guy said he sanitized it and I even went over it with commercial grade cleaner and some heavy elbow grease. It's as clean as it'll be, trust me. 14'' regular. Full plastic inserts on the whole glove. Looking for $150 shipped. I'll listen to offers. PM me for the fastest answer.

Harv 86 Report post Posted April 14, 2012 To paraphrase Dr. Sheldon Cooper...."you mean I have in my possession the DNA of an NHL player" (just speculation, of course)Nice gloves.I'm not claiming anything. I can't recall any Caps player being cut so bad that it stained both of his gloves. It would have to be a facial cut to have it stain like it did. Unless it was at a rookie camp/pre-season tourney thing.I'm not really familiar with the Caps roster of the last few years. Wish I could figure out who wore them.
