OpenIceHit42 2 Report post Posted April 26, 2012 I stripped a bolt when trying to remove a wheel from my Tour Beemer's, would I be able to drill that out or should I take it to a local shop and see if they can drill it out without messing up the threads on the other side? henryb 4 Report post Posted April 26, 2012 I would recommend a reverse thread bolt remover tap. This is a tool that looks like a very short drill bit, it will be cone shaped... So as it start to grip the stripped Allen key hole, it will get tighter and tighter until it starts to turn the bolt out. There are different sizes, just try to get one that is closest to the stripped hole size. Should be available in most hardware stores for about $5-10.
