Not to much to say about it to start, but what do you think of the idea?

My goalie has a pair of the pads, he really likes the system, it still retains the pads properly on his legs when he goes down into the butterfly and back up on his feet. The best feature is the ease of use, he takes less than half the time putting his pads on and they're solid on his legs. Wish I had this when I was playing goal.

That system looks great.

My summer project for this year is rebuilding the strapping on my Koho 580s, I may do something similar to this to them as it looks like a great idea.

On that note, if you were to create a strapping system from scratch, how would you do it? What would the ideal system do?

A hypothetical question, but one that I may want to experiment with if someone has a good idea.

OmegaGoalie's custom strapping setup that he's done himself is essentially the exact same setup.. but with nylon buckles. I'm just not too sold on the use of Velcro.. but call me old-school. I still like leather straps and buckles. But I'd surely be open to the concept if proven to be durable. Waiting to hear more from other users on the matter.
