Solidus433 1 Report post Posted May 11, 2012 Why is it that most online dealers only carry half sizes for skates on the top tier skates only? For example, inline warehouse only sells the alkali ca7 and ca9 with half size options, but only full sizes for the ca5 and ca3, but in the product videos they show the 8.5 size for most skates, even the ones that aren't sold in that size. I personally can't afford a $400 pair of skates, but don't want to buy a skate that is a half size to big or to small either. Does anyone know if I can buy skates from the manufacturers direct or am I just stuck with the wrong size or a more expensive skate?
mhkehoe 1 Report post Posted May 11, 2012 Most manufactures don't offer half sizes in models under $200, so this really isn't all that unusual. That is why I went with the RX25 rather than the model down when I last bought skates.
