Hamrlik curve to Datsyuk?

I just broke my 8.0.8 and I've only used PM9/P92 style curves. I don't want to break the bank on a new stick and really like the Hamrlik/Duchene pattern. I was looking at the A.I.5 which doesn't come in the Duchene pattern.

My question is would the Datsyuk pattern be a good comprise for the Hamrlik/Duchene pattern?
