OpenIceHit42 2 Report post Posted June 10, 2012 Haven't really played roller in about a year except for here and there so I haven't really paid attention to my skate but I noticed this on my boot yesterday when putting new wheels and bearings on it; can this be fixed or is it pretty much shot? sharks25 9 Report post Posted June 10, 2012 I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure its not fixable. Maybe you can make a temporary fix with a ton of epoxy, but it'll probably rip away over time.

HBPuckstopper 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2012 I work at HockeyMonkey and have seen this plenty of times. The best fix would be to take it to a hockey shop, take off the front wheel, and put a rivet through the outsole and into the toe cap. Make sure the rivet goes through the plastic of the toecap. Could even put 2 rivets there. The closer you can get to the edge, the better.
