jason37 2 Report post Posted July 15, 2012 Participation in the SWSHS allows more kids to enjoy the great game of hockey. The teams, many with professional and national championship winning coaches, share a common goal of placing the emphasis on player training and development while experiencing high-quality competition. The Southwest Select Hockey Series includes teams ranging from squirt to midget major. With six pre-defined tournaments, an opportunity for more series weekends, friendship games/scrimmages, and holidays free to travel to tournaments or recharge at home, we believe Southwest Hockey offers the best of all worlds. We welcome your input, and hope you'll visit often as we update team participation, schedules, and more. In the interim, whether you are an existing member or team interested in participating, please contact us if you have questions.Tournament Dates :http://www.swshs.org...les-and-results
goblue9280 33 Report post Posted July 15, 2012 Those teams that play exclusively in the SWSHS are ineligible for TAHA or National Tier II Championships, correct?I just have a hard time seeing two travel leagues being successful in Texas... especially when the other one has the backing of an NHL team.
