alfredbot9000 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 I was trying on some skates the other day and tried on the Easton EQ40s size 6.5D. They fit great length wise, width and heel, but I fail the pencil test on volume, not by much but enough that I can feel alot of pressure on the top of my foot when laced tight. Is there a skate that fits similar to the EQ line but with more volume.I do have a high arch and they had stock footbeds in them. Would superfeet help at all or would that worsen the problem my adding more volume? The fit is so good everywhere else and it was a slight volume fail that I'm considering just dealing with it.Thoughts? AIREAYE 248 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 Superfeet would not help in your case as, like you said, they will take away some volume. Have you tried Supreme?
alfredbot9000 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 That's the one skate I haven't tried because I thought they were similar to Reebok as far as width goes which is a little to wide for me. What would be the best way to combat the stance difference. The EQ are more forward stance which I like would I need heel lift for Supremes to mock this more towards a EQ/Vapor stance? AIREAYE 248 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 Supreme is slighty wider than EQ Synergy, not a drastic difference. If you cannot get used to the stance change, then the heel lifts could work.
alfredbot9000 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 I'll give the Supremes a shot. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and the quick replies.
