Graf Ultra G7 vs Vapor XXXX Volume

Could someone with knowledge of both skates compare the volume? I fail the pencil test miserably in the Vapor XXXX (almost half an inch by the third eyelet) and I'm looking at the G7. My Vapors are 8EE. No LHS within 500 miles carries the higher end Grafs so trying before buying is not an option.

I know the 709 is the deepest fit but I would prefer the lower cut and flexible ankle of the G7. I've been playing for 20+ years so I'm not a beginner.
