Reebok 16/18k. 75 flex or 85 flex? Cut down 2 inches would equal...

I was reading through a couple posts on these sticks but they were last years model. A lot have said they feel much stiffer than their rating. Has anyone played with the 16k or 18k and felt they were stiffer?

Also since Reebok does not have the same length sticks for 75flex vs 85flex, I'm going to have to cut 2 inches of the 85 flex if i get that one. When cutting Reebok sticks, how much does their flex change?
