I've found some used Velocity 7400s on my local CL.

I think the taller pad will help me on several fronts but my budget is getting very thin with recent gear purchases.

What are your opinions on some gently used 7400s for $200?

What year did the 7400 come out?

What are some of the big differences from the 7400 to the newer models in this series?
