difference in Vapor models

Looking to get a new pair of Vapors. Currently, using a Vapor XXXX and dont want to spend a lot of cash. Haven't been playing as much as I used to. Currently looking at the X6.0 and the X5.0 because of price and possibly the X80. Is there that much difference between the skates? I know the X80 has the new holder. Thoughts?

x7.0's are cheaper on closeout than the x80's and are the equivalent model to the XXXX's that you're using

XXXX->x60->x7.0->x90

How do you know the lineage of skate models? Is there an easy way to tell, or a cheat sheet that we can use?

Thanks for the breakdown. I'll look into the X7.0's. I think they are roughly $30 more than the X6.0's.

The XXXX and X:60 were both top of the line skates when they were introduced. Compared to the new top end skates (APX and APX2), the X7.0 and X90 are the highest end Vapor skates you can get without going into a boot with the curv composite quarter package.
