T1 NXG skate problem

Hi, i have bit of a volume problem with my T1 NXG which are size 7EE. i fail pencil test on eyelet 3 from top to eyelet 3 to down of the boot, not very bad, but fail anyway. I need to let laces loose or i feel pain on top of the foot and my foot go little numb. For lenght, skates are good after i cut off those wings on insoles, before i cut wings, my toes were little bit crunched. Width are pretty good as well. I'm thinking now how the fit goes if i go up half size to 7.5 so how much more there are lenght/width/volume size 7.5 D or EE skate comparing to my size 7EE? Or should i start looking other brands with deeper boot? And yes, i know that i need try them and i will do that, but right now thats not an option and i want some opinions from you guys. Sorry for possible misspelling, english is not my first language.
