warrior dynasty intermediate protective lineup

I have a couple of questions that I really can't get answered since no one around me carries these pads.

My son has grown out of his junior L/XL elbow pads but isn't ready for an adult small due to his arms being thin but long and leaving nice gaps in his forearm and bicep protection.

I am wondering if these are designed for this exact purpose but am really in the dark other than reading an online product description.

Any help would be appreciated. I am hoping there are pro shop employees, etc.. who have these in stock who may be fitting kids on a regular basis and can help

Yes. The intermediate sizes are just that, in between a jr and sr pad.
