Removing stick tar from gloves

I recently purchased a pair of Mike Richards' Nexus 1000 gloves. I think I now know why Richards uses like 3 pairs of gloves a game, because he uses a bunch of stick tar and his palms get pretty nasty.

Having said that, I'm sure it can be removed and I was hoping the community'd have some suggestions.
