CCM resistance helmet large size fit

Does anyone have or tried a large ccm resistance helmet. I want to know about the fit between the medium and the large size because the hockey shops in my area doesn't have it yet and I'll order it online. My head is 23 inches around and currently I have a large reebok 7k on the narrower point and it fits me quite well.

You should wait until your shop gets it and buy from them where you can actually try it...

Otherwise you could possibly be in a Large once more on the smaller side of the adjustment.

Based on my experience, you will need a large. I have a 22.5" head, and tried on a medium. It was too snug, even at the largest setting. I tried on the large, and even that one had to be opened up a bit. I found the large to be very comfortable on my head once I found the proper adjustment. I have not used it in a game yet though, I just got it yesterday.

The size chart on the CCM website is different than some of the online retailers size chart for this helmet. The CCM website is more accurate.

My head size is roughly 23" (I fit a large Reebok 11K quite well as a reference), and I fit well length wise in both the large (on the smallest setting) and the medium (somewhere in the middle). However, my problem with almost every helmet on the market is the temple area, since most helmets that are perfect length wise aren't usually so great width wise. With that said, I found that the large was only slightly wider, but I would still trying in store and if push comes to shove, get the large.

I should have included this in my previous post... My problem with the medium and my 22.5" head was the snugness of the forehead and back of the head. The width of the helmet was ok. My head is a bit narrower and longer than average I think. Someone with the same head circumference as me, but with more width and less length of head might find the medium works ok.
