biff44 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Best one I ever tried: take a full length barbell. Put a 25# or more weight on only ONE end, and secure it well. Haul it over to the corner of the room and shove the empty end of the barbell into the pocket where the two walls meet the floor. Now stand facing the corner with the barbell on one side. Lift the end with the weight plate up and over your head, from one side to the other, and then lower to the other side, keeping the end stuck into the corner of the wall. Just keep moving the barbell left up down, right up down, over and over until your core is screaming for mercy. You end each rep holding the weighted end of the barbell somewhere between your waist and shoulder, to one side of the body. DrMolotov 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 swiss balls are great because you have to keep your balance while doing crunches or whatever core exercise you are doing. They cost less than $25.00 and if you have a good set of dumbells you can and press movements. couple of good exercises at http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/clark1.htm
