Tuuk holder and blade sizing

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of size 9.5 Reebok 9k pro stock skates that have size 288 Tuuks on them, which just barely fit on the boot. Based on sizing charts online, they should be size 280 as the 288 is for size 10 and 10.5 skates. I just ordered a new pair of Reeboks online but size 9 instead of 9.5 and plan on using the Tuuks from the old skates. Does anyone know if the 288 will fit on the size 9 boot or will I need to find a set of 280s to make this work? Thanks

Not overly familiar with riveting a TUUK on a Reebok boot, but with Bauer, you can go up or down two sizes on holders based on preference. For example, I'm wearing a size 7D Vapor 1X, but use 272 LS Edge holders (stock is 263).

Off topic but, Bauer 1X fit it width same as APX or APX2 skates in forefoot area, APX wider in forefoot and toe cap then APX2 in same size and width?
