Mounting D1 Chassis to Vector

I'm looking to buy CCM Vectors and convert them to roller. I have the chassis off my D1C's that I'd like to use. The Missions are an 8.5, and Id prob be getting 8.5 or 9 Vectors. Size-wise, I think the chassis should fit. However, somone that used to own a pro-shop told me mounting Mission frames could be a bad idea. Something about the pitch or how Mission makes heels higher than the toes, makes mounting a pain if not on a Mission boot. Will it work out? Mission chassis onto a CCM Vector?
