Graf >>CCM skates, blade profiling question

Hello,

 

Have skated on Grafs for years using a 7/10 combo radius. Seemed to work well. I needed new skates and with Graf NA going under I switched to CCM Jetspeeds. Best fitting skates I've ever had. They're a 10' radius. I LOVE the acceleration and turning, but after playing a few games in them it seems like I'm stuck going forwards only, and can't easily pivot on the blade to backwards as with the Grafs. So, anyone have any thoughts on a blade profile that keeps what is great about the CCMs but allows an easier pivot to backwards? Maybe a 9/10 radius combo radius? Or just switch to a different technique to transition to backwards? A note on my skill level: I've played for over 15 years but born/raised/play in Southeast Texas + recent testing indicates my bloodstream is made up of 1/4 whisky, 1/4 bourbon, 1/4 bacon fat, and 1/4 blood.
