Blade pitch and radius

he was talking about number and how long the blade is...radius number determine how long the blade touch the ice??is it that...well he was really talking about 15(i might be off the track for 17) but i know he did talk about a 15...

By the way i did go to t,blade and S is 9 radius M is 11 and L is 13...

I always played with 9 and 11 radius...never found a big difference...except that the 9 radius last me about 7 hours of ice time before switching the blade!!!
