Just an attempt to set a few things straight:

- the inventor is a German engineer whose sons were playing hockey, and who got tired of poor sharpening around his hometown, and therfore experimented on the replaceable skate blade concept

- he developed the concept, the technology, the design, the brand and the current blade with a local network of German industrial partners

- he is now the head of R&D of t-blade GmbH, the German company who holds all IP (patents, trademarks, design rights etc)

- t-blade GmbH has formed a joint venture with Graf Canada and CCM/The Hockey Company: t-blade Inc is distributing the product in North America

PS A friend told me abot ModSquadHockey - it´s great. I hope I can contribute some basic info to the sometimes heated debate about t-blade ...

So the reports of a lawsuit are not correct?

The rumours about a t-blade lawsuit have indeed no substance (and I should know if there were any such lawsuits <_< )

I am skating on t-blades and love them. The only part about them then pisses me off is the availibity. I wanted to change from a medium rocker to a small for comparason. the set im currently on are fading on me fast and my order keeps being backed up a week at a time. Im the only one in my area who uses the T-blade system so im screwed till they come in. I kno your in Germany But here in the us im pissed. By the way, T-blades where a wicked awsome invention!

I would love to get some t'blades on my vector 7.5 because the guy in town does a terrible job and peranis is the best place but its an hour away. I dont know if peranis could install them they sell holders and replacement blades

I just started using t'blades....... and I have to say I love them as well.. and I was getting good sharpenings at MAX. edge.. but I love my t'blades, the edge is so good all the time,.. dunno if i'll ever go back ;) it doesnt hurt that I think they look sweet too :D

I can attest to that. I have purchased a couple of MiracleStones (see sticky thread on top of the forum) and it works great on t'blades. I am very picky about my edges and used to change runners every 5 to 8 icetimes. Now, as long as I don't kill the blade completely by stepping onto something (concrete, metal etc.), I can prolong the life of a set of runners by 50 % easily.
