Stick Fix

I broke my Bauer Vapor XX not to long ago (my 3rd one) and instead of buying a new one, I'm continplating wether or not to take it to this guy in my city who fixes them with a fiberglass wrap technique. Has anyone else had this done? Is it any good performance and durability wise?
