Nike V-Force shoulder pad question

Do the Nike V-Force shoulder pads (SMU for THG) have the zipper front closure like the V12 (you adapt the size of the pad once an after that you open/close it with a zipper that's located under the front plate) or do they have velcro straps to close the front?

I consider getting these V-Forces and just ask myself what the difference to the V12 is (only one I've found right now is the different strap on the biceps protector).
