Recchi vs. Mogilny

Recommended Posts

I know what the pattern db says, and have seen the images on the websites...but does anyone have both a CCM Recchi and a Inno Mogilny to compare to each other side by side? (composite retail versions)

If so,

1. Which one is curved more at the toe? (or are they the same)

2. Which one has the deeper curve? (or are they the same)

3. Which one is more open? (or are they the same)

4. Describe the difference in the lie. (or are they the same)

I like the curve shape of the recchi but want to try the performance of the Inno blade. It appears to me from everything I can gather that the Mogilny is the closest to the recchi, but want to make sure there isn't something that totally off between the two...a vast difference in lie would be a real deal killer.

1. Recchi

2. Recchi

3. Mogilny

4. About the same

Recchi is a much bigger cure than Mogilny. I have never had an Inno McCarty blade, but the curve depth may be closer to what you're looking for.

Timber...you da' man!

The McCarty was the other one that I had my eyeball on. It's a bit more difficult to find in the tapered fit, but I'd still like to try it out.

Thanks.

Oh and BTW...Go Gophers.
